The testnet
Rails runs as a public testnet on Robinhood Chain. You play with tRAIL, a test unit with no monetary value that you cannot buy, sell or withdraw. Balances, positions and the ledger may be reset before mainnet.
$RAIL has not launched. No page on this site offers, sells or promises $RAIL, and any contract address you see elsewhere is not ours until it appears on this site.
How results are decided
A track settles by the published rules in the docs: the price feed's one-minute bars against the rails, the bound entry, and the model parameters served at /api/model. The public ledger records every settlement with the data that decided it.
If the price feed is unavailable, a track that reaches its end settles as held, because no touch can be proven. We may cancel and refund positions affected by a clear error in the feed or in our software, and we record such refunds in the ledger.
Your responsibilities
You control your wallet and its keys. Use Rails only where playing skill-based prediction games is legal for you. Do not attack the service, automate abuse of the faucet, or impersonate other players with a display name.
No advice, no warranty
Nothing on Rails is financial advice. The service is provided as it is during the testnet, and it can change, pause or stop. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses of test units or for decisions you make based on the service.
Changes
We update these terms as Rails moves toward mainnet. The date at the top shows the latest version. Mainnet will ship with its own terms.
